Financial Promotions Workshop

After attending this training course, attendees will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the link between the FSA Statutory Objectives in FSMA, the Principles for Business and Financial promotions;
  • Explain the main FSA handbook rules relating to Financial Promotions;
  • Analyse whether a promotion is ‘fair, clear and not misleading’ in line with FSA requirements;
  • Identify information requirements for different sorts of financial promotions, dependent upon to whom they are directed (retail or professional clients);
  • Apply FSA principles relating to financial promotions to their own marketing and promotional material.
